Rincon Earns Top 15 Finish as Abbey Finishes Play at Two Tournaments

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C./GAFFNEY, S.C. — Mariano Estebanez Rincon earned a Top-15 finish as three different groups of Crusaders concluded play at two different sites Tuesday.

At the Spring Bulldog Clash, Rincon shot a final round of 1-over par 71 to led the Abbey for the tournament. The Crusaders finished tied for 15th in the tournament. Belmont Abbey had three other scores in the 70s from Eduardo Arango (74), Will Muldoon (75) and Dylan Reiser (79).

USC Aiken won the team title while Lenoir-Rhyne's Sean Finan won the team title with a three-round total of 1-under par.

At the Pioneer Invitational in Gaffney, Evan Eassy led the Abbey as the top finisher with a final round 79. That was good for a tied for 21st individually.

The two Crusader teams finished eight and 11th, respectively, with Pikeville winning the team title and Alex Dietrich of Spartanburg Methodist winning the individual title at 1-over par.
