The reality that we all are created in the image and likeness of a loving God compels each and every one of us to embrace the inherent worth and dignity of all individuals and to love our neighbor as Christ has loved us. Unified in non-violent denouncement of any and all forms of racism, discrimination, oppression, and injustice, we request everyone present this evening please join together in a shared moment of silence as an expression of our collective acknowledgment of human dignity, of our sorrow for the existence of injustice, past and present, and of our collective advocacy for positive change now.
