BELMONT, N.C. — Belmont Abbey outfielder Caleb Burr was named a Preseason All-American by D2 Baseball as the media outlet released its full list of honorees Monday.

Burr enters the 2026 season after earning several accolades last season including all-region and first-team All-Conference Carolinas honors. He finished the 2025 season with a .353 batting average and led the team with 16 home runs, 62 runs batted in and a .686 slugging percentage. The graduate student outfielder also earned CSC Academic All-American honors last year as well.

He is one of five Conference Carolinas student-athletes to earn Preseason All-America honors. The full list of honorees can be found here.
