GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Belmont Abbey's Mikey Sweigart was selected as the Conference Carolinas men's lacrosse Freshman of the Month for April. the league office announced today.
 
A freshman attacker from Havre de Grace, Md., Sweigart helped Belmont Abbey to a 4-0 record in April regular-season action. He scored two goals and tallied four assists for six points during that span.
 
Sweigart was previously named Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year in a vote the league's seven head coaches.
