GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Belmont Abbey's Eddiel Kielkopf has been named Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced today. The award is the first this season, and second overall, for the sophomore from St. Paul, Minn.

Kielkopf was big in a pair of Belmont Abbey wins last week, making 11 saves on 60 shots faced. He started with six saves in a 9-8 win over North Greenville before making five saves in a win over Barton. He added five ground balls in the win over North Greenville .
