GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team was selected to finish fourth in the 2023 Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll that was released Wednesday. The poll was voted on by the league's head coaches.
The Crusaders earned 71 points in the poll behind preseason favorite Mount Olive (97 points) and Emmanuel and Erskine (80).
Belmont Abbey finished seventh in the conference with a 6-5 record in the league in 2022. Conference Carolinas play begins Wednesday, March 8 with the conference championship set for April 21-23 at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center in Florence, South Carolina.
