BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team earned a season sweep of the Tornado as the Crusaders defeated King 7-0 in a road Conference Carolinas match on Saturday.
The Crusaders won all nine matches for the day with all of them coming in straight sets. All three doubles matches were decided by 6-1 scores while
Hanley Riner and
Rebekka Collyer won their respective matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
With Saturday's result, Belmont Abbey is now 13-5 overall and 6-1 in Conference Carolinas play. The Crusaders have won three matches in a row and 12 of their last 13 overall.

- Belmont Abbey will return home to face USC Sumter and Piedmont in exhibition matches on Tuesday at the Reidy Tennis Center.
- Following the Easter break, Belmont Abbey will split the squad for a road match at Ferrum and a home match against North Carolina Wesleyan on April 7.
