BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey baseball team collected four hits as the pitching staff struck out 14 Lenoir-Rhyne Bears Wednesday. The Crusaders move to 9-11 on the year as the Bears improve to 11-8.

• Belmont Abbey starter Ryan Giberson pitched the first four innings allowing four runs on six hits while striking out five.
• Christian Mracna struck out two in his inning of relief.
• Dylan Smith and Nolan Wilson both struck out the side in their inning appearance.
• Sean Johnson, Adam Overcash, Zach Aehlert, and Kale Rhame picked up base hits for The Abbey.
• Matty Bapst and Rhame both drove in runs on the contest.
