GREENVILLE, TENN. – The Belmont Abbey baseball team collected four hits as the pitching staff racked up seven strikeouts against Tusculum Saturday night. The Crusaders are now 0-5 on the year as Tusculum improves to 2-3.

Highlights

• Ben Gobbel, Adam Overcash, Kale Rhame, and Matty Bapst recorded hits in the contest.
• Griffin Baker started for The Abbey throwing five innings allowing three hits, no runs while striking out four.
• Will Carney came on in relief tossing 1.2 innings.
• Joe Cooney threw the last 1.1 innings for the Crusaders striking out two.
