NEWBERRY, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey baseball team scored four runs on 10 hits in the series cap against the Newberry Wolves. The Crusaders are now 3-0 on the young season and Newberry improves to 3-0.

Highlights

• Three Crusaders recorded two hits as Mason Dodd, Adam Overcash, and Matty Bapst all collected multiple hits.
• JuJuan Cason, Dodd, Overcash, and Bapst all drove in runs in the game.
• Sean Johnson, Ben Gobbel, Nick Mauer, and Patrick Taylor also collected hits in the contest.
• Charlie Cochran started for The Abbey going 1.2 innings allowing three hits.
• Collin Andres and Will Carney pitched 2.1 innings each as Andres struck out five.
