BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey baseball team shutout Lander Tuesday night at Abbey Yard. The Crusaders collected nine hits en route to their 16th win of the year. The Abbey is 16-18 on the year and Lander moves to 11-20 on the year. 

Highlights

Mason Dodd went 3-for-4 with a two-RBI double in the third inning.

Matty Bapst drove in a team-high three runs with a single in the sixth and double in the eighth.

Jakob Rolly had two RBI as Zach Aehlert and Kale Rhame scored two runs each.

Crusader starter Jason White pitched five scoreless innings allowing just three hits.

Nolan Wilson, Will Carney, Trey Cruz, and Sam Luchansky closed the game out for The Abbey.
