WILSON, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey baseball team collected nine hits on the day as they wrapped up a three-game series at Barton Saturday. The Crusaders are now 11-17 on the year with a 4-9 Conference Carolinas record. Barton improves to 19-11 and 7-5 in league play.

Ben Sneider had an RBI triple in the second inning.

Jakob Rolly drove in a run with a single in the sixth.

Sam Luchansky threw 6.0 innings giving up one run and striking out seven.

Game Two

Barton 3, Belmont Abbey 2

Ben Gobbel and Justin Moran both tallied two hits in the contest.

Moran and Jason White both drove in runs in the second inning.

Sam High pitched 5.1 innings with six strikeouts.
