BELMONT, N.C. – Ben Gobbel led the Belmont Abbey baseball team with two hits and an RBI as the Crusaders took on Lenoir-Rhyne Tuesday at Abbey Yard. The Abbey collected six hits as they move to 8-7 on the season. The Bears are now 6-9.

Highlights

Jason White and Gobble each recorded RBI singles in the fifth inning.

Matty Bapst also drove in a run with a sac fly in the fifth.

Will Carney pitched 1.2 innings of relief striking out four batters.
