The Belmont Abbey volleyball team fell at St. Andrews Presbyterian by a 3-0 score this evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. The Knights improve to 10-17 overall and 7-9 in Conference Carolinas, while the Crusaders slip to 8-16 overall and 7-9 in Conference Carolinas.

Freshmen Stefanie Holler and Rebekah Weber led the Abbey offense with five kills apiece, while Emily Frohnapfel and Bria James both finished with four. Weber had five assists while Molly Gwaltney led the way with 14. Carrie Markham posted a pair of assists while Frohnapfel tallied one.

Defensively, Markham led the Crusaders with seven digs, and Megan Watts had three and James totaled a pair. Frohnapfel and Weber both posted two blocks, while Leanne Cassandra had one.
