The Belmont Abbey volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Queens University this evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. Set scores were 20-25, 13-25 and 25-27. Queens improves to 4-18 overall and 4-9 in Conference Carolinas, while the Abbey slips to 7-11 overall and 6-5 in Conference Carolinas.

Leanne Cassandra led the Abbey offense with six kills, while Emily Frohnapfel added five. Sydney Steffen and Bria James both added four and Stefanie Holler finished with three. Rebekah Weber handed out 16 assists while Molly Gwaltney logged six.

Defensively, Cassandra posted a team-high two blocks, while Steffen, Holler and Weber all added one. Carrie Markham led the way with six digs, while Weber finished with three. Gwaltney and Megan Watts posted two and James finished with one.
