Will Breslin Named CVAC Baseball Player of the Week

BELMONT, NC- Will Breslin of Belmont Abbey College (15-10 overall, 8-4 CVAC) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) men's baseball Player of the Week during week number five of the 2007 season.

The Daytona Beach, Florida product led the Abbey to three wins last week, including an upset win over 13th-ranked West Florida on the road. Breslin hit .529 (9-17) with four doubles, two homers and seven runs batted in. In the two game series at West Florida, he went 6-6 with two doubles, and six RBI going 3-3 in each game.
