GREENWOOD, Ind. -- Belmont Abbey men's lacrosse player Brendan Boschi has been named Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced today. He is a member of the At-Large team which covers sports without its own separate Academic All-America program.

Boschi, a graduate student from Litchfield, N.H., was the team's leading scorer this season with 54 goals and 91 points. He ranked second in the country in points per game (5.69), while standing 10th in in assists per game and 11th in goals per game. A first-team All-Conference Carolinas selection, he was also named all-region and honorable mention All-America by United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) and honorable mention All-America by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

Boschi held a 4.0 grade-point average as a Sport Management graduate student after finishing his undergraduate studies at Neumann with a 3.93 GPA.
