FERRUM, Va./BELMONT, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team battled in a pair of matches Tuesday at Ferrum and at home against North Carolina Wesleyan.
The Crusaders swept Ferrum 7-0 before falling 4-3 to North Carolina Wesleyan.
Against the Panthers, the Abbey won all nine matches, two by default. Against North Carolina Wesleyan,
Leilany Sanchez and
Rebekka Collyer won in singles play.
With Tuesday's results, Belmont Abbey is now 14-6 overall and 7-1 in Conference Carolinas play.

- Belmont Abbey returns home to face Lees-McRae at 1 p.m. Friday at the Reidy Tennis Center.
- Additionally, the first KPI rankings will be released by the conference on Wednesday. The rankings will determine seeding for the upcoming conference tournament.
