Elizabeth Young turned in a time of 39:08.19 in the 10,000m run Thursday night, highlighting the first day of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship, held at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. Her effort earned her third-team all-conference honors and sixth points towards the team total.
After two events, Belmont Abbey stands fifth overall among the 16 teams.
