COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Three Belmont Abbey field hockey student-athletes were named as Division II Scholars of Distinction by the National Field Hockey Association (NFHCA) Friday by the organization.
Grace Hines,
Isabella Hite and
Grace Kalina were recognized as part of the 144 student-athlete class.
The honor celebrates student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. All three were also part of the 16 Crusaders named to the NFHCA Division II All-Academic Team earlier this week.
Notably, 26 honorees earned this distinction for the fourth consecutive year, including Hines.
