BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Belmont Abbey Acrobatics & Tumbling team earned two conference titles in Trio and Quad Tumbling at the Event Finals as part of the Conference Carolinas Tournament Sunday at King University.
The Crusaders scored a 7.975 from an 8.75 start value to win Trio Tumbling while scoring a 7.425 from an 8.0 start value in Quad Tumbling.
In Trio,
Meagan Henry,
Deanna Woolard and
Madison Quinlan all competed in Trio while Quinlan along with
Tia Fluellen,
Audra Kaiser and
Sarah Brady won the Quad title. It is the second straight year the Crusaders have won in Quad Tumbling in event finals.
Following the Event Finals, five Crusaders were recognized for their all-conference honors:
Molly Froman (first team),
Gracie Grady (first team),
Deanna Woolard (second team),
Madison Quinlan (second team) and
Sarah Brady (second team).
