FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. — The Belmont Abbey acrobatics and tumbling team took home the individual event title in the Trio Pass at the Event Finals as part of the Conference Carolinas Tournament Sunday at Emmanuel University.

The team of Tia Fluellen, Meagan Henry and Mckenna Shane earned a score of 8.35/8.75 to capture the title. It is the second straight year that the Crusaders have won the Trio Pass title in event finals and fourth time since the first time the event was held back in 2021.

Additionally, Fluellen competed in the Aerial Pass and scored a 9.3/9.55 in the heat.

Following the event finals, the All-Conference award winners as well as the major award winners were recognized.
