Box Score BELMONT, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team won its second straight match thanks to a 4-3 win over Union Commonwealth University Friday afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.
The Crusaders took two of three doubles matches to earn the point and earned wins at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6 singles to secure the win over the Bulldogs.
Hanley Riner won in both doubles and singles play while
Kaitlin Nguyen had the clinching point for Belmont Abbey.
With Friday's result, Belmont Abbey improves to 6-9 on the season while Union is 5-3.
