SMYRNA, Tenn. -- Sophomore Alexander Ramoska bowled the first 300 game in program history Friday, leading to a 12th-place finish in the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Singles Championship Sectional, held at the Smyrna Bowling Center. He hit his 12 straight strikes in the third of six games, leading to a total pinfall of 1,328 (221.3 average).

Braiden Meyers, who later in the day was named Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month, also scored 1328 in his six games. However, only the top five finishers at the sectional advance to the national tournament in April.

The Crusaders continue play in Smyrna over the weekend with two days in the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championship Sectional. The top three teams there will move on to next month's final
