HARTWELL, Ga.— The Belmont Abbey women's golf team closed out play Tuesday of the Emmanuel Spring Invite at Cateechee Golf Club with the final round of play.
The Crusaders improved their 18-hole total from Monday by six shots for a 332 total and a tournament total of 670.
Belmont Abbey remained in 10th with
Katie Cullen shooting the low round of the day for the Crusaders with an 80 and a two-day total of 167.
Paeton Phillippi shot a second consecutive round of 83 while
Ella Wiklander shot 84. Phillippi was the top finisher for Belmont Abbey while
Lilianna Carcel and had rounds of 85 and 86, respectively.
Mississippi College won the team title with a two-round total of 604 led by Ashlyn Madden, who won top medalist honors with a 4-over par total of 148.
