Abbey Second at Conference Championship as Cullen, Wiklander Finish Top 3

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's golf team finished as the team runner-up at the 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship Tuesday at The Carolina Country Club.

The Crusaders finished the tournament with a three-round total of 934, one shot ahead of third-place finisher Emmanuel. 

Ella Wiklander finished in second place after closing the tournament with a final-round 80. Katie Cullen had the best round of the day for the Crusaders with a 3-over par 75. She closed her round with an even par 36 to move into a tie for third. 
Both Crusaders were named to the All-Tournament team following the conclusion of the tournament. 

Lilianna Carcel closed the tournament with an 81 and finished tied for 17th. Bethany Welch and Kellyn Arnold rounded out the team with scores of 80 and 82, respectively. 

Erskine won the team title with a three-round total of 908 and earn the automatic bid for the NCAA South/Southeast Super Regional that is scheduled to be held May 4-6 at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tennessee. 

Erskine's Lina Lindqvist won the tournament with a 5-over par total of 211.
