WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Haley Kells and
Isabelle Flores broke their own school records in the Pentathlon and 60m Hurdles, respectively, highlighting Day One of the 2025 Conference Carolinas Indoor Track & Field Championship.
As a team, the Crusaders stand tied for fourth of 10 teams with six of 17 events scored.
Kells took the pentathlon lead to the final event before eventually earning the runner-up spot. Her score of 2,990 points, topped her score of 2,689 points at the Bast-Creggar Multis Invitational earlier this season. Flores ran a time of 8.82 seconds, while also qualifying in the 400m Dash with the top finish.
The meet concludes tomorrow.
