WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Senior Mia Zuniga broke the six-year old school record in the 800m Run Thursday night, highlighting Belmont Abbey's effort at the JDL College Team Challenge, the final regular-season indoor track meet of 2024-25. The Spring, Texas native's time of 2:23.08 was not only nearly a second better than's Julia Otranto's 2.23.95 in January, 2019, but was also the top time in Conference Carolinas this year.

The Crusaders close out the indoor portion of the schedule at the Conference Carolinas Championship Feb. 23-24 back at the JDL Fast Track.
