GREENVILLE, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's soccer team earned plenty of recognition Friday afternoon as the Crusaders had eight student-athletes earn All-Conference honors as the Conference Carolinas league office unveiled the full teams.
Four Crusaders earned a first-team selection: Anna Richárd at forward,
Addie Galek and
Sabrina Cunha as midfielders and
Jadyn Radestock as a defender.
Haley Long and
Maris Toppin earned second-team honors at forward and defender, respectively, while defender
Hanna Doerr and goalkeeper
Ryleigh Dougherty earned spots on the third team. The eight all-conference selections is one shy of the program-best nine from 2015 and it is the most student-athletes selected since the 2007 season.
Richárd put together a stellar season for the Crusaders in 2025, leading the team offensively in points (29) and assists (13). At the conclusion of the regular season, the senior from Carthage, N.C. was tied for the Division II lead in assists. She recorded one brace at North Greenville on October 7 and had five matches with two assists. She started in 17 games for the Crusaders this season and is making her third appearance on the all-conference team.
Cunha put together another strong season for Belmont Abbey in the midfield, earning her second all-conference selection. The senior from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada finished with six goals and six assists during the regular season and had a pair of two-goal games at King on September 17th and Virginia State on October 1st. She has started all 18 games for the Abbey over the course of the season.
Galek makes her first appearance on the all-conference team after a career year for the senior midfielder. She finished the regular season with a career-best seven goals and five assists that included a brace in a win over Converse on homecoming weekend. The Charlotte native also had two assists in wins over Virginia State and Southern Wesleyan and is third on the team in points with 19.
Radestock makes the team in her first year as a Crusader after leading the way on the defensive back line. She was part of a defense that put together nine shutouts and held opponents to three or fewer shots. The San Diego, California, native also contributed on the offensive end with a goal in win at North Greenville and six assists. This is the first all-conference honor for Radestock as she started all 18 games during the regular season.
Long is back on the all-conference team for the third straight year in her Crusader career. The junior forward from Winston-Salem, N.C. was the leading goal scorer for the Abbey with 10 goals and added five assists. She recorded her first hat trick in a win against Virginia State back on October 1. She appeared in all 18 games for Belmont Abbey with 10 starts and had 21 shots on goal.
Toppin was a key part defensively for the Crusaders as she makes her first appearance on the all-conference team. The sophomore from Carolina Beach, N.C. appeared in all 18 games for the Abbey with 15 starts and had five assists to her credit. She is one of two defenders for the Crusaders to earn a spot on the team.
Doerr earned a spot on the all-conference team after putting together another strong season for Belmont Abbey. During the regular season, she finished with two goals and an assist while also making key contributions on the defensive side of the ball. The junior from Littleton, Colorado made 17 appearances during the regular season with 13 starts.
Dougherty rounds out the group of five first-time all-conference selections with her spot on the third team. The sophomore from Raleigh, N.C. made 16 appearances in goal for the Crusaders with 15 starts and had five solo shutouts and four more combined shutouts to her credit. She finished with a .682 save percentage and made 30 saves on the season with 14 goals allowed.
