MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Junior Isabelle Flores earned Female Track Athlete of the Meet honors Saturday after sweeping both hurdles races in record-setting fashion, highlighting Belmont Abbey's participation at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Women's Track & Field Championship..The Crusaders totaled 54 points to place fifth among the 12 teams

Less than an hour after setting a school record in the 100m race, she broke school, conference and meet records for the 400m with a time of 59.25 seconds. It was just .01 ahead of second place and ranks as the third-best in Division II this season, guaranteeing her a return trip to the national championship meet.

Flores also helped the 4x100m relay team to a school-record time of 48.17 seconds.
