Box Score WILSON, N.C. -- Freshman Nate Lorenzo established career highs with four goals and five points and three others tallied three goals each, leading Belmont Abbey to a 24-13 victory over North Greenville Friday night in the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Tournament. 

The Abbey advances to Sunday's 1 p.m. championship game against top-seeded Mount Olive. The Trojans and Crusaders battled into overtime during the regular season with UMO earning the home win.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Davis McCulley, Jacob Power and Tre Childers chipped in three goals each with McCulley and Power assisting a goal as well.
• Quinn Smith, Riley Arsenault tallied four points on two goals and two assists, while Mikey Sweigart had a two-goal game.
• Belmont Abbey won 22 of 41 face-offs, including 20 of 36 by first-team all-conference selection Caleb Mulcahy.
• Mulchahy grabbed 15 of The Abbey's 37 ground balls with Kameron Peters adding four more.
• Angus Snow tallied almost 58 minutes in goal, allowing 13 strikes by NGU. He made 15 saves.
