MONROE, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's golf team concluded play with the final 18 holes of the Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate Tuesday at Stonebridge Golf Club. The two teams the Crusaders sent to the tournament finished 14th and 16th, respectively.
From the A team,
Bridget Forgatch finished with the best round of the day with a 79.
Paeton Phillippi (77-74-87—238) was the top finisher for the Abbey in a tie for 54th. From the B team, Lilian Carcel had the low round of the day for the Crusaders with a 77. The team finished with its best round of the tournament with a 326.
Host Wingate won the team title (296-293-291—880) with the Bulldogs' Hailey McLaughlin (214, -2) winning the medalist title.
