HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Belmont Abbey trimmed four shots off its opening round score, shooting 321 to tie for 11th place at the Battle at Hilton Head, co-hosted by Barton and Lincoln Memorial.
Ashlan Tresca finished as the top Crusader with a 36-hole total of 159 (t32nd).
The Crusaders enjoy an extended break before returning to action March 18-19 at Wingate's Jerry Surratt Invitational. The Abbey will have three teams competing.
