WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey placed four runners in tomorrow's finals and had a pair of high jumpers tie for seventh, highlighting the Crusaders' participation on the first day of the Conference Carolinas Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship.
Haley Kells and
Fina Mochi each cleared 1.45m (4'-9") with an equal number of misses to split three team points.
Isabelle Flores qualified for the finals in both the 400m Dash and 60m Hurdles. She won the hurdles title at this event last year.
The Abbey scored five points Sunday to stand tied for seventh with King.
The action concludes on Monday with eight track races and three field events.
