ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The Belmont Abbey women's golf team returned to the course for the first time in the spring as the team completed 36 holes in the LMU Women's Spring Kick-off Intercollegiate Monday at the Club at South Hampton.
 
The Crusaders sit in 13th place after 36 holes after finishing with a two-round total of 650. Paeton Phillippi was the top Abbey golfer on the day as she finished with a 156 total. She opened the tournament with a 1-over par 73.
 
Ashlan Tresca and Ella Wiklander opened with rounds of 80. Tresca had the low score of the second round with an 82.
 
Lander (299-291—590) leads the tournament followed by Wingate (307-285—592) and Carson-Newman (303-307—610).
