GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey men's golf team returned to play at the Bearcat Classic Monday at Greenwood Country Club.
 
The Crusaders were able to complete 36 holes but some teams were unable to do so due to darkness. Belmont Abbey shot identical scores of 289 in both rounds for a 578 total. Based on scores available, the team was tied for eighth with Wingate when play was suspended. Both teams were tied for 10th after the first 18 holes.
 
Jack Warren led the way for The Abbey, shooting the low round for the Crusaders with an opening 4-under par 68. He followed that up with a second round 74 for a 142. Jacob Ferrari finished with the best score in the second round, with a two-under par 70.
 
Anderson led the tournament when play was suspended followed by Lander and Barton in second and third place, respectively.
