BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Belmont Abbey men's golf team sent two teams to open play a the King University Invitational Monday at the Golf Club of Bristol. The two Crusader teams stood tied for eighth and 11th, respectively, with team scores of 299 and 301.
Freshman
Alex Franklin led the way with a round of 1-over par 71 followed by
Jack Crawford and
Seth Hopkinson who shot 73 and 74, respectively. For the second team from the Abbey,
Josh Gillespie,
Evan Eassy and
Teagan Mauro shot rounds of 75.
Tusculum leads the team score with a 9-under par 271 led by a 65 from Harrison Price.
