Box Score 2 BANNER ELK, N.C. and BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey women's tennis teams faced a particularly long day facing Lees-McRae in a rescheduled Conference Carolinas match and hosting Montevallo Tuesday afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.
The Crusaders ended up dropping both matches Tuesday, falling 4-3 to the Bobcats and 7-0 to Montevallo.
Against Lees-McRae, the match lasted 10 hours due to having to move indoors due to inclement weather.
Lily Aranyos won matches in both doubles and singles play for the Crusaders while
Alexis Burkhalter and
Frankee Hendricks also earned singles points for the Abbey.
Belmont Abbey is now 11-8 overall, 2-2 in the conference with the results. Lees-McRae is now 3-7, 2-1 in the conference while Montevallo is 7-7.
