Box Score MARS HILL, N.C. –  The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team earned its first win of the 2023-24 season with a 5-2 victory over Mars Hill Friday afternoon at the Hart Tennis Center.
 
Alexis Burkhalter and Hanley Riner won in both doubles and singles play to lead the way for the Crusaders. Friday's match also marked the opening dual match for the Lions who are 0-1.
 
The Abbey took two out of three doubles matches and four of six in singles play to secure the victory.
