BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team won its second straight Conference Carolinas match with a 7-0 victory over North Greenville Friday at the Reidy Tennis Center.
It was also Senior Day for the Crusaders as
Laura Seib and
Carlie Davis were honored prior to Friday's match.
The Abbey earned the doubles point by taking two of the three countable matches, including Seib. She teamed up with
Frankee Hendricks for a 6-3 victory over Naomi Sakakibara and Mitzy Enderink.
Seib won her match in No. 4 singles 5-7, 6-1, 6-0 over Sakakibara and Davis won her singles match, 6-1, 6-0 over Ashlen Chapman.
Paola Socarras also won a pair of matches to help move Belmont Abbey move to 6-13 overall and 2-2 in the conference. North Greenville is now 2-10, 1-3, respectively.
