SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey women's golf team returned to the course for its first tournament in two weeks at the Converse Spring Invitiaional Monday at Carolina Country Club. Lauren Denhard finished with the low round of the day for the Crusaders, finishing with a round of 79 and was tied for 11th with six other golfers.

Belmont Abbey sent two teams to the competition with the A team ending the day in 7th place with an opening 332 and the B team in 9th at 341. Morgan Comer and Paeton Phillippi were the next best finishers for the day for the Crusaders with opening rounds of 82.
