Wade Jackson scored a team-high 17 points and three other players topped double figures but an 21-6 second-half run lifted Catawba to an 85-75 victory over Belmont Abbey in men's college basketball action Wednesday night.
The Crusaders fall to 0-3 on the campaign, while the Indians improve to 2-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- KJ Garrett scored 16 points and dished out four assists. It marked the third time in as many games that the sophomore reached double figures.
- Mason Taylor added 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds, while Ryan Maslow rounded out the double-figure scoring efforts with 12 points.
