BELMONT, N.C. --
Judah Ravenell led four players in double figures, but a strong first half lifted Emmanuel to an 86-76 victory over the Crusaders in Conference Carolinas men's basketball action Wednesday night. The contest was the final home game of the 2025-26 season.
With the result, the Crusaders fall to 7-17 overall and 5-13 in league play, while the Lions improve to 14-12, 11-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ravenell tallied 17 points and had two assists. He hit a team-high three three-points, making five baskets overall.
- Gabe Cerda tallied 16 points, marking his 12th double-figure game of the season. He also added a team-high six assists and made six steals, tying the school record.
- Franklin Davis and Myles Smith rounded out the double-figure scoring with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Smith was the team's rebounding leader with four.
- Emmanuel made its first 10 shots and 12 of its first 15, finishing the opening period at 75.0 percent from the field. The result was a 55-point period and 26-point lead at the break.
- Belmont Abbey scored the first seven points of the second half and cut the lead to seven, 76-69, with 2:48 remaining. But Emmanuel hit all 10 of its free throws over the remaining time to preserve the victory.
