GREENVILLE, S.C. – Three Belmont Abbey women's soccer players earned All-Conference honors from the Conference Carolinas league office Tuesday. The voting was conducted by the league's head coaches.
Freshman midfielder
Anna Richard was named to the second team while senior forward
Goose Andrews and senior goalkeeper
Lauryn Harding were named to the third team.
Richard has become one of the go-to playmakers for the Crusaders as she has four goals and four assists this season.
This is the third time that Harding and Andrews have earned All-Conference honors after earning recognition last season and back in 2019.
Andrews currently leads the team with eight goals on the season, including three game-winners. Harding has made 17 starts in goal for the Crusaders and has made 49 saves on the year with three shutouts.
The Belmont Abbey women's soccer team faces No. 1 seed North Greenville in the semifinals of the 2022 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship at 11 a.m. Friday at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, N.C.
