MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey earned points in eight events Saturday, culminating in an eighth-place finish at the 2021 Conference Carolinas Women's Track and Field Championship. The Crusaders finished with 46 points, just six behind Barton for seventh.

Freshman Meghan Little placed sixth in the 3000 Steeplechase, less than 12 hours after earning all-conference honors in the 10,000 meters last night. One day after winning the long jump, Cristina Villanueva finished fifth in the triple jump.
