Box Score BELMONT, N.C. - Sylvia Goldmsith won her third singles match of the year as the Belmont Abbey women's tennis team earned a 4-3 victory over Converse this afternoon.  THe win puts the Crusaders at 4-8 on the year, with a 3-1 Conference Carolinas mark.  The Valkyries are now 2-6, and 0-4 against conference opponents.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Crusaders earned wins at #2 and #3 doubles to secure the doubles point
• Goldsmith earned a two-set victory at #1 singles, her third singles win of the year
• Madelyn Schott, at #3 singles, also earned a two-set victory
