Abbey Earns Two Shutouts in 6-1 Win Over NGU

Box Score BELMONT, N.C. - Carlie Davis and Laura Seib both earned 6-0 shutouts as the Belmont Abbey women's tennis team earned a 6-1 victory over North Greenville this afternoon.  With the win, The Abbey improves to 2-6 on the year, and 1-0 in conference play.  North Greenville is now 0-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Belmont Abbey won at #2 and #3 doubles to clinch the doubles point
  • Kayla Vaughan earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at #1 singles to improve her singles record to 5-3
  • Davis and Seib earned impressive 6-0, 6-0 shutouts at #5 and #6 singles
