JEKYLL ISLAND, GA. The Belmont Abbey women's golf team currently stands in 11th place following the opening round of the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate Monday. The tournament is being hosted by Lincoln Memorial University. The Crusaders opened with a team score of 322 and was led by Oxana Braun, who opened with a 78 and is tied for 18th overall. Albany Bock and Paeton Philippi both shot 81 and YenXuan Omg and Lauren Denhard opened with rounds of 82.
