NINETY SIX, S.C. — Lilianna Carcel led the way for Belmont Abbey on Tuesday as she shot a final round of 1-under par 71 to close play at the Grand Harbor Classic Tuesday at Patriot Golf Club.
 
Carcel shot back-to-back rounds under par and started the day 3-under, including an Eagle-2 on No. 10, her fourth hole of the day. She finished in a tie for 20th to lead Belmont Abbey. Ella Wiklander and Katie Cullen also finished rounds in the 70s as both shot 75. Kellyn Arnold shot her best round of the tournament with an 81 while Kate Nyers shot 82.
 
As a team, the Crusaders closed the tournament with a 302 and a three-round total of 919.
 
Wingate won the team title at 1-under par with Amely Bochaton and Lee's Hannah Nall tying for top medalist honors at 7-under par.
