NINETY SIX, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's golf team began its final tournament of the regular season at the Grand Harbor Classic Monday at Patriot Golf Club at Grand Harbor.

Two Crusaders, Ella Wiklander and Lilianna Carcel, both shot under-par rounds on the day to lead the Crusaders. Wiklander's 2-under par 70 came in Round 1 while Carcel shot 70 in Round 2. At the end of the day, Carcel was the top finisher for the Abbey on the day with a two-round total of 4-over par 148. She is tied for 26th after the opening 36 holes.

As a team, Belmont Abbey sits in 12th after a two-round total of 617 (301-316). Wingate leads the tournament with a 2-over par total with Amely Bochaton leading the way at 5-under par.
